Texas Monthly says: Since 1945 this Island landmark has been delighting its customers with first rate Tex-Mex food. Indeed, stepping into this old eatery is like stepping back in time. Hallmark corn tostadas (each a crunchy half tortilla) and creamy chile con queso(the best we've tasted) keep yu busy while you try to choose among all of the ooey-gooey selections. We love both the cheesy enchiladas and crunchy beef tacos.
